The meeting discussed the issue of organizing colorful political and cultural events and widely introducing and disseminating the greatness and immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il through mass media on the same occasion.

The meeting adopted a joint statement which said:

We praise the exploits of leader Kim Jong Il who contributed to the Korean revolution and global independence.

Kim Jong Il will always live in the hearts of the world progressive mankind along with his exploits as he glorified the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung as the guiding idea of the independent era and made distinguished contributions to ensuring peace and security on the Korean Peninsula and the rest of the world with his unique Songun politics.

We will set the period from November 30 to December 17 as a remembrance period and conduct various activities praising the immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il.
