Delegations of Overseas Korean Women Meet with Former Unconverted Long-term Prisoner
Pyongyang, November 19 (KCNA) -- The delegation of Korean women in China led by Chon Jae Ryon who is director of the Women's Department of the General Association of Koreans in China, and the delegation of Korean women in Russia headed by Jong Il Sim who is advisor to the United Confederation of Koreans in Russia, met with Ri Kong Sun, former unconverted long-term prisoner who is pro-reunification patriotic fighter, on Monday after participating in the Fourth National Meeting of Mothers.

Ri Kong Sun told them how he waged an indomitable struggle against the enemies despite severe penalties, appeasement and blackmails baffling human imagination for decades.

He said he could remain true to his revolutionary faith because he trusted in the leader and kept in mind ardent patriotism and sense of duty for comrades and posterity.

He expressed belief that the members of the delegations would make positive contributions to prosperity of the country true to the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

Jong Il Sim said the lives of the pro-reunification patriotic fighters who fought to defend their revolutionary principles could shine thanks to the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu.

She expressed the will to devote everything to the cause of national reunification looking forward to the rosy future of the country with boundless reverence for Marshal Kim Jong Un.

There was an art performance given by former unconverted long-term prisoners and their families.
