Meeting Held in US to Hear Speeches of Koreans Who Visited Homeland
Pyongyang, November 15 (KCNA) -- A meeting was held in Los Angeles on Nov. 9 to hear speeches made by Koreans in the U.S. who visited the homeland to participate in the seminar marking the fifth anniversary of the historic October 4 declaration.

Its participants heard speeches made by Ro Kil Nam, representative of Minjok Thongsin, an internet paper of Koreans in the U.S., Son Se Yong, member of the editorial board of Minjok Thongsin, and others about their visit to the homeland.

The speakers said that the seminar held in Pyongyang in October marked an occasion in demonstrating the unanimous will of all fellow countrymen to achieve national reunification through concerted efforts of the Koreans.

The homeland has turned into a political, ideological and military power which no big power dares invade and the general advance for developing the economy and improving the standard of the people's living is making dynamic progress in different parts of the homeland, they noted.

They said that during their visit to the homeland they witnessed the harmonious whole of the leader and the people and ardent loyalty of the people.

They underscored the need for the north and the south to thoroughly implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration to reunify the country.

The participants watched a video showing the progress made in the homeland.
