Blessed Mothers in DPRK
Pyongyang, November 14 (KCNA) -- The 4th National Meeting of Mothers is to be held in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on the occasion of Mother's Day (November 16), the first ever in the country.

It will be attended by mothers who gave birth to many children and did good things for the country and society.

Kim Myong Suk, vice-chairwoman of the C.C., Democratic Women's Union of Korea, told KCNA:

"We, women, have enjoyed a worthwhile life, as one of the driving forces in building a thriving nation.

President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il cared so much for the women in their lifetime.

The dear respected Kim Jong Un is now taking warm care of them. He congratulated the women on the International Women's Day this year, enjoying together with them the Unhasu Concert exclusively given for them.

During an inspection tour of a frontline military unit, he called wives of officers with their children and posed for a photo with them.

Thanks to him, the Breast Cancer Research Centre was built at the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital. He also called at the family of a woman innovator that moved to a new flat built in Changjon Street, giving his blessing to her for being soon-to-be mother.

Mothers in the country feel great pride in having Kim Jong Un as the supreme leader."
