KCNA Denounces S. Korean Regime's Pro-Japanese Act
Pyongyang, November 13 (KCNA) -- Another pro-Japanese treacherous act by the south Korean regime has touched off surging anger of the nation.

It is reported that some time ago the puppet Ministry of Unification of south Korea decided to put in "respite" the payment of fine which was imposed upon the Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps in south Korea for the reason that it made public a joint anti-Japanese statement with the DPRK side without its permission.

Matter is their insistence that the council can be exempted from the payment only when it refrains from similar "illegal action" for six months. In other words, it means that the nation's common struggle against Japan's past crimes and moves for reinvasion can be conducted only with their "approval".

This is prompted by the brigandish theory of fascists that "even evil law should be abided by because it is a law". It is the unpardonable pro-Japanese treacherous action to check anti-Japanese struggle of the south Korean people.

As already reported, the DPRK Measure Committee for Demanding Compensation to Victims of Sexual Slavery for the Japanese Army and Forcible Drafting and the Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps in south Korea released a joint statement on the anniversary of Korea's liberation Aug. 15, in protest against the sexual slavery for the Japanese army, Japan's attempt to grab Tok Islets, its militarist moves for reinvasion and military cooperation with south Korea.

The puppet Ministry of Unification forced the council of south Korea to delete the content of military cooperation in the draft statement at that time. But, the council denied it and the ministry imposed the fine upon the council, charging that it is "illegal action".

It is the nationwide patriotic struggle for defending national dignity and sovereignty to force Japan to pay reparation for the past crimes and reject Japan's militarist moves for reinvasion. This work common to the nation should be more encouraged.

So, the preceding fascist rulers of south Korea dared not bring charges against the anti-Japanese common struggle of organizations in the north and the south.

The case is same for the signing of military agreement with the Japanese reactionaries.

Those who pursued pro-Japanese policy in the past could not even think about the signing of military agreement with Japan. They could not but stop the signing as it sparked off a big furor among south Korean people from all walks of life and even among officials of the south Korean "government".

Nevertheless, the present south Korean regime groundlessly suppressed the council which has struggled to defend the demand of the victims to the Japanese imperialists' atrocities while regarding the council as a thorn in the flesh. Not content with this, it raised sordid precondition to the "respite" measure.

The Lee Myung Bak group revealed its true colors as a group of despicable traitors steeped in pro-Japanese sycophancy to the marrow of its bones.

Since the beginning of his office, Lee Myung Bak pursued the disgraceful treacherous pro-Japanese policy while talking about "forward-looking ties without asking the past" and is pursuing pro-Japanese policy even in the waning days of his office.

That is why the south Korean people brand the Lee group as traitors worse than the "five traitors of 1905".

As proven by the history, the heinous traitors will meet the miserable death only.
