Present there were officials and members of the Mongolia-Korea Friendship Society, the Mongolian Mt. Paektu Association for Independent Development, the Federation of Peace and Friendship Organizations of Mongolia and a Mongolian company.

Ch. Surenjav, chairman of the Mongolia-Korea Friendship Society, said at the ceremony Kim Jong Il carried forward the cause of President Kim Il Sung and developed Korea of Juche with his Songun politics.

It is natural for Mongolia that forged the traditional relations of friendship with the DPRK to form the committee for remembering Kim Jong Il and organize colorful events on the occasion of the first anniversary of his demise.

Ch. Surenjav was elected chairman of the committee.

The committee decided to organize diverse political and cultural events such as seminar on exploits, meeting to remember Kim Jong Il and film show.
