Kim Il Sung's Work Indicates Juche-oriented Line on Korean Revolution
Pyongyang, November 10 (KCNA) -- November 10 is the 75th anniversary of "The Tasks of Korean Communists", a celebrated work authored by President Kim Il Sung during the anti-Japanese armed struggle.

He authored the work in the autumn of Juche 26 (1937) when he was leading a main unit of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army to launch harassment operations behind the enemy lines in Changbai, Linjiang and Mengjiang counties of China. The work was carried in Sogwang that year, the mouthpiece of the KPRA.

Contained in the work are the Juche-oriented line and policies on the Korean revolution which were advanced already at the Kalun Meeting and whose validity was proved in the course of anti-Japanese struggle.

It also expounds the anti-imperialist, anti-feudal democratic character and mission of the Korean revolution, its driving forces and objects and the problems to be settled through the anti-imperialist, anti-feudal democratic revolution, as well as the immediate tasks of the Korean communists.

The work served as a textbook for the KPRA members in their military and political studies in the Matanggou Secret Camp. Copies of it were distributed to all KPRA units and underground organizations.

The work gave an impetus to the overall Korean revolution centered on the anti-Japanese armed struggle when the Japanese invaders were trying to expand the Chinese-Japanese War.
