Park Geun Hye Accused of Making Public Her Confrontation Policy Commitments
Pyongyang, November 9 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea on Thursday gave the following answer to the question put by KCNA as regards her commitments to diplomacy, security and unification policies made by Park Geun Hye, presidential candidate from the "Saenuri Party" of south Korea:

Park Geun Hye on Monday made public her commitments to diplomacy, security and unification policies.

There is no knowing about whether they were written by herself or written by others for her, but their contents are little different from the confrontation policy of traitor Lee Myung Bak and go beyond Lee's in some aspects, stunning people.

Park declared that she would carry forward the "unification proposal for national community based on the order of liberal democracy" which the former dictators advocated only to be vehemently rebuffed by the public. She thus brought to light her intent on the confrontation of the social systems and wild dream of achieving "unification through absorption."

She, at the same time, groundlessly pulled up the DPRK, vociferating about "its provocations" and "right option", utterly ignorant of what is the basic cause of the collapse of the north-south relations.

She went the lengths of grumbling about "far-fetched assertion" and crying out for "priority to security", without properly knowing about what is nukes and what is the basic solution to their issue.

In the end she openly made such disgusting remarks as "the law on human rights in the north" and "defectors to the south" which Lee dared not do at the outset of his office.

None of the successive rulers of south Korea has ever betrayed the confrontation intent and wild ambition to achieve "unification through absorption" so openly from the days of the presidential election campaign as Park.

It was until recent days that Park trumpeted about "keeping distance from Lee" and called for "revamp" and "changes" through her election commitments. But she made a U turn in just one or two months, echoing what was uttered by the conservative group. This is something stunning.

The above-said policy commitments announced by Park are the ones for overall confrontation and war as they are more dangerous than Lee's confrontation policy.

The improvement of the north-south relations is what was unanimously called for by the south Koreans.

With the "presidential election" at hand, many south Koreans hold that the confrontation policy pursued by Lee should not be allowed to persist and Park in her commitments recognized it and talked about "developing the north policy" in the direction desired by the people.

But the contents of her recent commitments are quite contrary to what she said earlier as they are peppered with contradictions.

How is it possible to build confidence between compatriots while tightening the alliance for aggression with foreign forces and bolstering deterrent force and what promise should be kept between the north and the south, while the joint declarations which their top leaders promised to implement are left ignored.

How will she usher in the era of "peace" and "concord" while denying the other side's social system, calling for "order of liberal democracy" and kicking up an anti-DPRK human rights ruckus?

Park's commitments will bring nothing but confrontation and a war.

Public at home and abroad is becoming deeply concerned about the fact that if the "Saenuri Party" comes to power with the recent commitments, the confrontation will be further escalated and the north-south relations will be driven into an uncontrollable catastrophe.

This will do Park dreaming of a "woman president" nothing good.

Park would be well advised to face up to the trend of the times and people's mindset and not to follow in the disgraceful footsteps of the present regime.
