Granolith Used for Exhibits of Folklore Part
Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- Historic relics, displayed in the Pyongyang Folklore Park built at the foot of Mt. Taesong, were made with granolith.

Ri Song Guk, a researcher of the Mansudae Art Studio, told KCNA:

"It would take a great deal of manpower, materials and time to make with granites and marvels historic relics to be displayed in the Pyongyang Folklore Park.

Therefore, we took other choice, a method of making moulds with granolith.

Granolith-made sculpture, which can picture even a line of palm, is little different from that made with natural stone in texture and hardness, and its creating hour is shorter than the latter.

Granolith is comparatively light, so it is useful to make and install huge sculpture."
