Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Condemns Japan for Reviving Militarism
Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- Song Tao, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of China, addressing a forum during his recent visit to Finland, condemned Japan for its moves to revive militarism.

Referring to the issue of Diaoyu Islands, he said the issue surfaced entirely because of Japan's so-called "purchase of islands". China adheres to advancing toward peaceful development and, at the same time, firmly defends the sovereignty and territorial integrity, he noted.

The fascist crimes were thoroughly settled in Europe after World War II but some politicians of Japan still visit Yasukuni Shrine where mortuary tablets of war criminals are kept, openly denying the war crimes and distorting history, he said.

He called upon all the peace-loving countries and people to heighten vigilance against Japan disturbing the regional peace and stability, negating the results of the victory in the world anti-fascist war and challenging the postwar international order.
