U.S. Accused of Interfering in "Presidential Election" in south Korea
Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- The U.S. interference in the south Korean "presidential election" is a base move to quench the will of the south Koreans to judge the conservative forces and their sentiment for independent reunification, and extend the pro-U.S. regime, says Rodong Sinmun Monday in a bylined commentary.

Lurking behind such a move is the U.S. scheme to meet its strategic interests, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The U.S. is regarding south Korea as an important theatre for realizing its strategy for attaching importance to the Asia-Pacific region. It is seeking to intensify its moves for domination, subjugation, aggression and war by letting the pro-U.S. conservatives stay in power in south Korea. But the situation before the "presidential election" is turning unfavorable for the U.S.

Upset by this, it has left no means untried to search for a person palatable to it and have him elected through interference in the "election".

The puppet conservative forces, with nobody to rely on in south Korea, have made desperate efforts to extend the conservative regime at any cost, backed by their master U.S. by staking their fate on it. This fully reveals the true colors of the group of traitors as the despicable pro-U.S. sycophants and the master hand of confrontation who cannot live even a day without their master U.S.

The south Koreans should enhance vigilance against the moves of the U.S. to interfere in the "election" aimed at extending the pro-U.S. conservative regime, and resolutely check and frustrate them.
