Lee Myung Bak Group's Moves for Confrontation and War Lead to Its Ruin: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, October 3 (KCNA) -- The Lee Myung Bak group of south Korea's reckless moves to escalate confrontation with fellow countrymen would only precipitate its final ruin, warns Rodong Sinmun Saturday in a bylined article.

Drawing attention to the fact that these moves are reaching their height with the group's office coming close to its end, the article notes that they are escalating the military tension between the north and the south and bringing the dark clouds of a war to hang over the country.

The article goes on:

The puppet warmongers have staged more than a thousand war maneuvers against the DPRK over the past five years. This clearly indicates how desperate the Lee group has become in its efforts to ignite a war against the north in the whole period of its office. Recently it disclosed its dangerous scenario to mount a preemptive attack on all areas of the DPRK with ballistic missiles, announcing "a missile guidance agreement" and making preparations for "four-phased three-dimensional strike".

This unprecedentedly reckless confrontation ruckus of the group is nothing but the last-ditch efforts to tide over the extreme ruling crisis.

Through this noisy campaign the group seeks to create "security uneasiness" in a bid to divert elsewhere the criticism of it and prolong its remaining days.

Prompted by such scenario, traitor Lee Myung Bak toured Yonphyong Island and vociferated about "retaliation" and the warmongers of the puppet military trumpeted about "provocations from the north" and "annihilation," kicking up anti-north war hysteria every day.

Facts go to prove that, thrown into a bottomless quagmire, Lee may ignite a war against the north in order to escape his miserable end.

The Lee group had better bear in mind that its evermore desperate moves for a war against the north would only bring earlier its own doomsday, warns the article.
