Chinese Paper Accuses U.S. of Its Moves to Deploy Its Interceptor Missile System in Asia
Pyongyang, November 1 (KCNA) -- The Chinese People's Daily on Oct. 29 carried an article titled "Refrain from acts of disturbing security environment in Asia" in which it laid bare the U.S. moves to threaten peace and stability in the Asian region including Korea.

The U.S. is keen to deploy an interceptor missile system in Asia, pursuant to its "Asia-Pacific strategy for rebalance", the paper said, and went on:

Various signs indicate that this strategy would harass Asia.

Asian countries are expressing deepest concern over this.

It is the worst behavior to exaggerate a number of issues, deepen contradictions and create tension, watching for a chance.

What Asian countries have suffered so far made them begin realizing that the U.S. has played an "active" role in fabricating the non-existent issue of regional hotspot.

Can the U.S. choose a proper strategy, facing up to the trend of situation?

Asian countries are concerned over the U.S.

The U.S. should bear in mind that it is hard to guarantee its own security if it does harm to others in pursuance of its own interests and upsets the overall security environment.

It would be a strategic mistake for the U.S., if its interceptor missile system harms regional security and stability, going beyond its defense requirement.
