Lee Myung Bak's Another Scandal Disclosed
Pyongyang, October 31 (KCNA) -- It was disclosed by the south Korean newspaper Hangyore on October 24 that traitor Lee Myung Bak of south Korea was directly involved in securing 1.2 billion won to purchase housing lot in Naegok-dong, Seoul in the name of his son.

A pal of Lee Si Hyong, a son of Lee Myung Bak, disclosed this fact to a reporter of the newspaper on Oct. 23.

According to him, one day Lee Myung Bak told his son: "It is good to purchase housing lot in your name. You tell your uncle to lend 600 million won and secure another 600 million won of the required money from your mother's bank account".

Lee Si Hyong handed over the funds to an administrator for the general affairs planning of Chongwadae at that time.

The newspaper said that Lee Myung Bak and his son committed a wrong contrary to the "real-name real estate system".

The prosecution, however, dealt with this as a case lacking any suspicion, claiming that it was proper to consider that Lee Si Hyong bought land formally and substantially as he borrowed money and paid acquisition and registration taxes, the newspaper noted.

It underscored the need to conduct intensive investigation into what extent the guards office of the "presidency" was involved in the course of decreasing Lee Si Hyong's financial burden for purchasing the housing lot in Naegok-dong and increasing the burden of the Treasury as Lee Myung Bak's direct involvement was brought to light.
