"Saenuri Party" Accused of Shunning Part-time Job Issue
Pyongyang, October 30 (KCNA) -- The south Korean solidarity council for part-time workers union on October 23 issued an article accusing the "Saenuri Party" of shunning the issue of part-time workers.

It recalls that members of the part-time workers union of south Korea including construction trade union and freight solidarity receive a wage not enough to eke out a scanty livelihood for their long and hard labor.

The "Saenuri Party," however, has not met the demands of the workers for lawful protection of part-time workers, it says.

It is opposed to the discussions of the demands of the workers at the "National Assembly," it says.

Candlelight protests of the part-timers for their vital rights have taken place in succession in Seoul and other parts of south Korea, it says, calling upon the people of other social standings to take an active part in them.
