Chinese Paper Introduces DPRK Films
Pyongyang, October 30 (KCNA) -- Jilin Sinmun of China on Oct. 23 carried an article titled "We Meet the 'Flower Girl' in the Week of DPRK Film Show".

The paper reported about the opening ceremony of the week of DPRK film show at Yanbian, China. It went on:

DPRK films "A Flower Girl", "A Schoolgirl's Diary", "Wish", "Affection between Brothers" and "Pyongyang Nalpharam" will be shown during the week to help cinema-goers understand the DPRK, develop the Sino-DPRK friendship and boost exchange and collaboration between the two countries in the cultural field.

The film "A Flower Girl" is the work which deeply impressed the Chinese audience in the 1970s. Watching the film again, the audience get the same strong impression regardless of the passage of time.

"A Schoolgirl's Diary" was presented to a number of international film festivals and "Affection between Brothers" depicted fighters of the Chinese People's Volunteers including Hero Huang Jiguang.
