Commemoration Event for Anti-Japanese Revolutionary Martyr Held in Fusong, China
Fusong, October 29 (KCNA) -- A commemoration event took place before the grave of anti-Japanese revolutionary martyr Zhang Weihua in Fusong County, Jilin Province of China on October 27 on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of his death, centenary of his birth.

Present at the event were personages of the party and government bodies of Jilin Province, Baishan City and Fusong County, bereaved family members of Zhang Weihua and other people in Fusong County.

Also attending it were a delegation of the Party History Institute of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea headed by its Vice-Director Ri Sok Ryul, the DPRK consul-general in Shenyang and staff members of the DPRK Consulate General there and officials of the General Association of Koreans in China.

A wreath sent by the dear respected Kim Jong Un was laid before the grave where the monument bearing the autograph of President Kim Il Sung is standing.

Placed then were wreaths in the name of the party and government bodies in Jilin Province and Fusong County, the General Association of Koreans in China and the DPRK Consulate General in Shenyang.

The participants observed a moment's silence in memory of Zhang Weihua.

Speeches were made by the head of the Fusong County Office, the head of the delegation of the Party History Institute of the C.C., WPK and Zhang Jinquan, son of Zhang Weihua.

The participants looked round the grave.
