Reunification Institute Indicts "Yusin" Dictator Park Chung Hee
Pyongyang, October 26 (KCNA) -- The National Reunification Institute released an indictment Friday disclosing the fascist atrocity committed by Park Chung Hee 33 years after the "yusin" dictator met a miserable end in south Korea.

Top class pro-Japanese traitor Park was a matchless fascist tyrant and murderer, the indictment says, and goes on:

No sooner had he taken power than he pushed forward the traitorous talks with Japan, enraging the broad segment of the south Koreans.

Much upset by the public anger, the traitor arrested and threw into prison more than 40 innocent youth, students and other people and brutally tortured them. Finally he faked up so-called People's Revolutionary Party case in August 1964.

When there took place massive actions of youth and students and other people against the fabrication of "yusin constitution" at the outset of 1974, the traitor cooked up the case of Reconstruction Committee of the People's Revolutionary Party that April.

Over 20 patriotic people were arrested and sentenced to capital punishment. The capital punishment of 8 of them was carried out within 18 hours.

Those related to the Liberation Strategic Party of south Korea, an organization formed in south Korea in February 1967, were arrested and tortured to wrest fraudulent confession.

After this, Kwon Jae Hyok, core figure, was punished with death and 11 related were sentenced to life imprisonment.

Park regarded the south Korean Democratic Youths and Students League which led the struggle of broad range of south Koreans against dictatorship and outsiders from late 1973 as a thorn in the flesh and threw into prison more than 4 000 in April 1974 and sentenced over 200 core figures to severe punishment.

Professor of Seoul National University Choe Jong Gil, progressive scholar, was arrested in October 1973 and tortured. When they failed to make him confess to be a "spy", they killed him in a cruel manner.

The puppet Central Intelligence Agency committed terrorism against progressive intellectual Jan Jun Ha on August 17, 1975. But he was described to have made a false step during mountaineering on Yaksa Peak, Phochon, Kyonggi Province to meet death.

Traitor Park put into custody dissident democratic figure Kim Dae Jung three times as he was considered a stumbling block in building "yusin" dictatorial system. During the puppet presidential campaign in 1971 Park threatened him on 11 occasions by letter or phone and threw an explosive into his courtyard and rammed a vehicle against his car three times, injuring him.

There were several assassination plots against him including "tomato sauce operation" aimed to kill him during his anti-Park Chung Hee lecture in San Francisco, U.S. in April 1973.

On August 8 that year Kim Dae Jung was kidnapped in Tokyo and was taken to Osaka like a luggage and was then transferred to a vessel belonging to the puppet Central Intelligence Agency which planned to bury him at sea.

There are numerous cases in which Park suppressed and killed patriotic and democratic organizations and figures during his tenure of office.

Park harshly suppressed the media to build fascist dictatorial system after seizing power through May 16, 1961 military coup.

In May 1961 the traitor shut down Minjok Ilbo known as the most progressive newspaper in the south Korean media, on absurd charges.

He charged its Director General Jo Yong Su with "spy" activities and sentenced its inspector and the president of electricity and communications company to life imprisonment. He also sentenced a member of editorial board and director and first managing editor of the newspaper to 5 to 10 years in prison.

In May 1964 he threw into prison Director General of Kyunghyang Daily News and 8 relevant figures on charges that the paper carried an article criticizing the policy of the "government".

In the subsequent period, he usurped the right of operation from the paper and transferred it to the May 16 Foundation.

In June 1968 he searched three news agencies, five broadcasting agencies and two major newspapers and arrested 54 mediapersons and sentenced them to severe punishment.

Park cooked up "yusin constitution" in 1972. When anti-dictatorial actions mounted in south Korea, he cooked up a spy ring case of men of literature in 1974 and harshly cracked down on progressive writers, intellectuals and media persons, branding them as "spies".

In 1968 alone, more than 70 media and press organizations were closed and at least 1 000 media persons were thrown into prison.

Park committed fascist suppression of overseas Koreans also.

A typical of them is a case of operational team for communizing south Korea that broke out in 1967.

The traitor allured and kidnapped more than 70 overseas Koreans, charging that artistes, intellectuals and students who stayed in the Western Europe carried out spy activities via the DPRK embassy in East Berlin. He practiced tortures and persecution against them and branded them as "spies".

329 overseas Koreans were arrested and sentenced to capital or severe punishment in the period from March to August 1967.

When the presidential elections in April 1971 appeared to fail due to the popular actions for democracy against fascism, the traitor faked up campus spy ring case and arrested 51 including brothers So Sung and So Jun Sik, Japan-residing Koreans studying in south Korea.

The traitors committed barbarous atrocity against Sos to wrest confession that they carried out spy activities, and made them disabled in the end.

Kwon Mal Ja, Japan-residing Korean belonging to the South Korean Residents Association in Japan who was a second grade student of the Seoul Education College, was kidnapped in August 1975 and was brutally tortured to be made a spy.

When she refused to accept it, the murderers of the Central Intelligence Agency stripped and raped her. When she fainted away, they crafted a fraudulent statement to cook up campus infiltration spy ring case and arrest 21 including 12 Japan-residing Korean students.

These are just a tip of iceberg of huge suppression and murders committed during Park's military fascist dictatorial rule.

There are deep-rooted rancor of those who met undue deaths and suffering by "yusin" dictator's atrocious suppression.

The thrice-cursed crimes committed by traitor Park who earned an ill fame as a matchless fascist tyrant and murderer, can never be pardoned but be cursed and denounced by the nation for long.
