S. Korean Authorities' Moves to Escalate Confrontation with DPRK Slammed
Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification issued a commentary on October 19 denouncing the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors for making desperate efforts to escalate the confrontation with the DPRK in a bid to stay in power.

The commentary accused Lee Myung Bak of appearing on Yonphyong Island on October 18 and called on troops to "preserve the northern limit line at the risk of their lives."

The Armistice Agreement does not mention the "northern limit line" and no one is, therefore, obliged to observe it as it was unilaterally drawn by the U.S. forces, the commentary held, adding:

This being a hard fact, warmongers in the south are insisting on the assertion contrary to international law and using it as a lever for cooking up new "north wind."

Through this racket they seek to rally conservative forces once again and render the situation unstable in an effort to garner more votes in the forthcoming election.

The conservative forces' persistent moves to stay in fascist power quite contrary to the trend of the times through the fabrication of fresh "north wind" would only precipitate the day when they would face a stern judgment of history, the commentary warned.
