KCNA Commentary Sheds Light on S. Korean Regime's Distribution of "Standard Teaching Plan"
Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet regime's forcible distribution of "a standard teaching plan for action against forces following the north" has drawn public criticism.

The regime recently ordered army units and military educational institutions to use the "standard teaching plan" that labels the pro-reunification progressive forces in south Korea as "enemy".

The "plan" reportedly approved by Minister of Defense Kim Kwan Jin describes the pro-reunification progressive forces as "enemy of the army" in accordance with the doctrine that the progressive forces in south Korea are "the enemy-benefiting forces following the north".

Even likening them to "malignant virus", the "plan" calls the progressive organizations and civilians the target of military crackdown.

This clearly shows that the puppet regime's racket for "brainwashing" intended to oppress and revile at the progressive forces has reached a practical stage.

What merits serious concerns is that the distribution of the "plan" is a product of the "government" authorities' deliberate and premeditated plots, going beyond the scope of the military.

As already known, the south Korean Lee Myung Bak regime, obsessed by confrontation with the fellow countrymen, went the extreme lengths to crack down on progressive forces that stood against its traitorous and unpopular rule after it took power.

It gave birth to "theory of principal enemy" and "theory of forces following the north".

The regime redefined the DPRK as "a principal enemy" in the white paper on defense, etc. and underlined the more importance of intensified "security awareness" than the military's modernization, enforcing the "mental education" that incites confrontation.

Top military officials openly branded the DPRK as "direct and serious threats" and "a principal enemy". Military academies and units launched "brainwashing" aimed at instilling "view on enemy" into their cadets and soldiers.

The "brainwashing" within the army turned out to focus on oppression of the pro-reunification democratic forces after traitor Lee Myung Bak blustered in May that the forces inside south Korea echoing the north's assertions pose a big problem.

The south Korean regime also held "exams on actions against forces following the north" with more than 120 "questions for assessing recognition of existence of forces following the north".

Officers and soldiers were obliged to pass them.

The distribution of the "plan" is part of this move.

The Lee's regime intends to prevent the tendency toward reunification through alliance with the north growing among a broad range of south Koreans from spreading to the army, and use the army as a shock brigade for escalating confrontation with fellow countrymen.

In other words, it seeks to change the soldiers into deformed monsters to use them not only as cannon fodder for making provocations against the north but as brutes that ruthlessly crack down on civilians.

This can not be overlooked given the fact that in May 1980 paratroopers who took hallucinogenic drugs massacred citizens in Kwangju under the command of the military fascist Chun Doo Hwan.

The present situation proves that the Lee Myung Bak regime is a group of matchless traitors who would not hesitate to kill their countrymen, to say nothing of fanning up confrontation and feud, to prolong their remaining days.

It is quite natural for the south Koreans of broad strata to denounce the regime for seeking the distribution of the "plan" and urge Lee Myung Bak to step down immediately.

The conservative regime's true colors as a group of traitors will invite bitter criticism and rejection.
