The statement said:

The U.S. and south Korea conspired with each other to extend the ballistic missile range of the south Korean puppet army to 800km so that it may mount a preemptive attack on every part of the DPRK.

This action made it clear that the U.S. and south Korea do not want peace but are desperately stepping up the preparations for a war against the DPRK.

The prevailing situation created by the U.S. imperialists poses a very grave threat to the peace in Northeast Asia and the rest of the world.

It will, at the same time, turn the Korean Peninsula into the world's biggest hotspot and seriously threaten the existence of humankind.

The U.S. and south Korea will be held wholly responsible for their dangerous actions.

We fully support the statements issued by spokesmen for the DPRK National Defence Commission, the Foreign Ministry and the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea in this regard.

We hold that the DPRK as a sovereign country has the right to take any necessary measure to beat back aggression by the U.S. and south Korea.

The U.S. troops should pull out of south Korea.

We fully support the Korean people in their struggle against the U.S. imperialists.
