The letter said that thanks to the wise leadership and warm loving care of Marshal Kim Jong Un, the conference was held as a historic one offering an important occasion for rallying a wide range of Koreans in Japan including the new generation under the banner of patriotism and for building a harmonious, thriving and powerful Koreans' community as required by the new century of the Juche era.

President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il repeatedly gave important teachings and instructions to the Chongryon officials and Koreans in Japan so that they can keep to the path of patriotism following the socialist motherland with faith in Juche despite the grim circumstances in the alien land plagued by suppression moves on the part of reactionaries inside and outside Japan, the letter said, adding that they also provided meticulous guidance to the organization, putting it forward as a worldwide model for the movement of overseas compatriots.

The Chongryon officials and Koreans in Japan are full of firm pledge to advance all the work of Chongryon as desired and wished by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il with firm faith and optimism that the final victory belongs to them as long as they are led by Kim Jong Un, it noted.

It voiced their determination to warmly love the socialist homeland which represents mother's embrace and beacon of happiness and hope, make tangible contribution to the prosperity of the country and its independent reunification and conduct active external activities for close friendship with the Japanese people.

The letter also reflected their pledge to defend Chongryon, a valuable heritage bequeathed down by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il out of patriotism and an overseas Koreans' organization led by Marshal Kim Jong Un, and victoriously advance the movement of Koreans in Japan in the new century of Juche Korea by their concerted efforts with warm love for the country and the nation and strong mentality.
