Surveillance over S. Korean Workers by Civilian Employee of U.S. Forces Assailed
Pyongyang, October 21 (KCNA) -- It was disclosed by south Korean media on Oct. 18 that a civilian employee of the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces present in south Korea illegally kept watch on south Korean workers working in a U.S. military base in Puphyong through GPS.

It said that a security officer of a trading office of U.S. forces had kept watch on every movement of a south Korean worker from March to July last after stealthily fitting a GPS device on his vehicle in charge of transporting supplies for U.S. forces.

The south Korean workers in the U.S. military base are bitterly angered by the human rights abuse committed by the civilian employee of U.S. forces.

The secretary general of the "Inchon Solidarity for Peace and Democratic Society" declared this case is absolutely intolerable as it is a product of the south Korea-U.S. "Status of Forces Agreement." He demanded the unequal agreement be revised as early as possible and the civilian employee of the U.S forces punished for his illegal act.
