"Yusin" Dictator's Plunder of Others' Properties under Fire in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Democracy, People's Life, Peaceful Reunification and Sovereignty of south Korea in a commentary on Oct. 17 condemned the past fascist dictatorial regime's plunder of others' properties. The commentary referred to the fact that Park Chung-Hee and Ryuk Young Su Foundation is contemplating the sale of properties. The foundation was established by the Park Chung-Hee military regime in 1962 after looting stock, land, etc. of Kim Ji Thae, the then manager of Pusan Ilbo, it said, adding: It is by no means fortuitous that the Committee for Settling the Past History for Truth and Reconciliation termed the foundation case a plunder by use of power. The "Saenuri Party" should probe the truth behind the plunder committed by the "yusin regime" in the past and own responsibility for it. |
