Foreign Newspapers Mark 67th Birthday of WPK
Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- Newspapers of different countries carried special write-ups to mark the 67th birthday of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

The 37th issue of the Russian newspaper Patriot carried portraits of President Kim Il Sung, General Secretary Kim Jong Il and the dear respected Kim Jong Un, dedicating three pages to several articles under the title "In Lead of Times".

The paper said today the socialist DPRK is advancing vigorously under the uplifted banner of Juche despite all kinds of blockades and moves for aggression of the imperialists.

It is thanks to the wise leadership and unflinching struggle of WPK for accomplishing the revolutionary cause that the Korean people trust in the party and entrust their destiny to it.

WPK based on Juche set forth the national reunification as one of the most important tasks.

The Cuban newspaper Granma on Oct. 10 carried an article illustrated with a photo of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

It said:

The character of WPK is its great contribution to the development of socialism in the DPRK.

Today the WPK is leading the Korean army and people's struggle for developing the economy and firmly defending the revolutionary gains under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, its first secretary.

The Ugandan paper Sun Rise on Oct. 10 carried an article praising the immortal feats performed by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in party building illustrated with a portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il.
