Title of DPRK Labor Hero Awarded to Officials, Soldiers and Working People

| Pyongyang, October 17 (KCNA) -- The title of the DPRK Labor Hero and Gold Medal (hammer and sickle) and Order of National Flag First Class were conferred on Ra Yong Gak, Kang Song Il, Chang Jae Ryong, Song Yong Il, Ri Chang Ryong, Ra In Dok, Kim Myong Ryong, Paek Yong Ho and Kim Myong Chol. It was in recognition of their distinguished feats in erecting statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and building Changjon Street. A decree of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK on it was made public on Oct. 13. |
