The U.S. is contemplating bringing back to south Korea the chemical battalion which it withdrew from there in 2004, the commentary said.

Citing its reason the U.S. says it is aimed to intensify deterrent to threats on the Korean Peninsula but it is nonsensical, the commentary noted, and went on:

The U.S. has recently introduced many latest weapons to south Korea and deployed carrier flotillas around the Korean Peninsula. In view of this, the relocation of the chemical battalion cannot but be interpreted as part of the war preparations.

The U.S. asserted that the chemical battalion will carry out the operation to cope with the threats of chemical, biological and radioactive and high-performance explosion only to leave one suspicious as to whether the U.S. plans even an overall nuclear war.

Not only the inhabitants in the area to which the chemical battalion is expected to be relocated but all other people are opposed to the moves of the U.S. forces highly likely to bring about the danger of war and incur serious environmental pollution.
