Anniversary of WPK Marked Abroad
Pyongyang, October 15 (KCNA) -- Meetings and book and photo exhibitions took place in Democratic Congo, Sweden and Finland on October 4 and 5 to mark the 67th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

Displayed in the venues of the events were photos showing immortal exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il for part-building and the revolutionary activities of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

On display there were works of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu and books and photos introducing the effort of the Korean people in building a thriving nation.

Attending the events were officials of the People's Party for the Reconstruction and the Democracy, the Communist Party, the Workers' Party, the People's Rally for Socialism and the Working Citizens' Association of Democratic Congo, the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea of University of Kinshasa, the Democratic Congo-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Association, the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, the Communist Party in Sweden, the Swedish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Finnish Communists' League, the Finnish National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, and the Finland-Korea Society and masses.

Otete Gaston Mboyo, deputy general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Democratic Congo, said the history of the Workers' Party of Korea is the revolutionary history of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il both in name and reality.

The WPK and the Korean people will surely win a final victory as they are led by Marshal Kim Jong Un, he stressed.

Christer Lundgren, chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, referred to the course of victory and glory covered by the WPK.

Juha Kieksy, chairman of the Finnish National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, hoped that the WPK and the Korean people would always register successes in the accomplishment of the socialist cause under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un.

Messages of greeting to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the meetings held in Democratic Congo and Sweden.
