Greetings to Kim Jong Un from Indian Political Party Leader
Pyongyang, October 14 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, received a message of greeting on Oct. 9 from Prakash Karat, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist).

In the message the Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) sent a warm solute to Kim Jong Un, all the members of the Workers' Party of Korea and the people of the DPRK on the 67th birthday of the WPK.

The WPK was born amid the revolutionary struggle of the Korean people for creating new life 67 years ago under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung, the message said, adding it was a historic event.

The message continued: Its founding brought about a radical turn in the Korean people's efforts to carve out their destiny. The 67 years covered by the WPK are a history of the revolutionary struggle in which great achievements have been made by the people of the DPRK.

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) is watching the developments in the DPRK and the Korean Peninsula.

It is confident that the sinister plots of the U.S. imperialists and their puppet forces against the DPRK will fail and certainly be frustrated by its people.

The message expressed belief that the WPK would further consolidate the gains of socialism in the DPRK and reunify Korea under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) wished Kim Jong Un, the WPK and all the Korean people greater successes in the future on the occasion of the 67th birthday of the WPK, the message added.
