Kim Jong Un Refers to History of Revolutionary Schools
Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- The dear respected Kim Jong Un in his work "Children of Revolutionary Martyrs Should Become Dependable Backbone of Songun Revolution That Gives Steady Continuity to Bloodline of Mangyongdae, Bloodline of Mt. Paektu" referred to the fact that the revolutionary schools were founded and developed under the care of the great persons of Mt. Paektu.

Noting that the schools are Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il revolutionary schools which were founded and developed under the care of the great persons of Mt. Paektu and are bases for training backbone of the Songun revolution, he went on:

Generalissimo Kim Il Sung saw to it that the revolutionary school was built in time-honored Mangyongdae to train children of martyrs who laid down their lives for the revolution though he had a mountain of work to do for building new Korea in the liberated country.

President Kim Il Sung made up his mind to build the revolutionary school in the difficult period right after the liberation of the country when he had nothing but an empty knapsack he brought from Mt. Paektu. This courageous decision could be made only by the President, who had the noblest revolutionary sense of obligation and warmest love for the younger generation as his natural disposition.

The President made sure that children of revolutionary martyrs who had been wandering with no one to support them were brought together with much effort and brought up in the cradles of loving care called revolutionary schools. Since that period till the last moments of his great life the President showed loving care for the children.

Anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk was a tender-hearted mother who took deep care of the children of the schools as their real mothers would do. She was a great teacher who led the children with great care so that they might grow up to be successors to the revolution.

Kim Jong Un recalled that Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, when he was among children of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School in his childhood, implanted such mainstay of faith as trusting in and following the President only into their minds.

Generalissimo Kim Jong Il spared nothing to build the revolutionary schools into the centers for training the backbone forces of the Korean revolution and warm cradles for their children, Kim Jong Un noted, stressing:

It was thanks to the profound care of Kim Jong Il that the revolutionary schools were always bright with lights even during the Arduous March and the students there could stoutly grow up to be able workers of the revolution who would shoulder upon themselves the future of the country, while studying hard and cheerfully playing with nothing to desire more in the world.
