Russia Expresses Concern over S. Korea's Moves to Extend Missile Range

| Pyongyang, October 11 (KCNA) -- Russia warned of a new arms race on the Korean Peninsula, expressing concern over south Korea's moves to extend missile range, according to a foreign press report. A spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry Tuesday re-clarified through its Internet website Russia's invariable opposition to the south Korean authorities' attempt that may worsen the military and political situation on the Korean Peninsula and spark a new arms race. Russia urged all countries concerned to refrain from new actions to strain the situation, the spokesman said. |
