Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- The visiting delegation of the China Institute of Contemporary International Relations headed by its President Cui Liru Wednesday visited Mangyongdae, birthplace of President Kim Il Sung.

Members of the delegation looked round historic relics there, being briefed on the impressive story associated with the old home in Mangyongdae.

They toured revolutionary relics on Mangyong Hill.

The head of the delegation said that it was honor to visit the old home in Mangyongdae on the significant day, the 67th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

President Kim Il Sung who embarked on the revolution in his early days victoriously led the great anti-Japanese war to liberate Korea, he said, and went on:

The President provided the traditional Sino-DPRK friendly relations with elder revolutionaries of China.

I hope that the Korean people will achieve bigger successes in building a thriving socialist nation by inheriting the great revolutionary spirit of Mangyongdae family members.

The delegation also visited the National Gifts Exhibition House, Pyongyang Folk Park and other places.
