Congratulations to Kim Jong Un from Lao President
Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, received a congratulatory message from Choummaly Sayasone, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, on October 9.

The president in the message said that he extended his warm congratulations to Kim Jong Un, the Central Committee of the WPK, all the party members and the fraternal people of the DPRK on behalf of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, all the party members and the people of Laos and on his own behalf on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of the DPRK.

He said that the fraternal people of the DPRK achieved a great success in carrying out the cause of defending and building socialism and further improving the people's livelihood day by day guided by the Juche idea and Songun under the wise leadership of the WPK which was headed by President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il for the last 60 odd years and is being headed by Kim Jong Un.

The WPK and government, all the servicepersons and people of the DPRK are waging the dynamic struggle to carry out the decision made at the 4th conference of the WPK, rallied close around Kim Jong Un in one mind.

He, availing himself of the auspicious opportunity, wished the WPK and the fraternal people of the DPRK new greater success in accomplishing the cause of protecting the country, building a thriving socialist country, achieving the peaceful reunification of the country and contributing to the regional and global peace and friendship and cooperation.

He hoped that the traditional friendly and cooperative relations between the parties, governments and peoples of Laos and the DPRK would grow stronger, wishing Kim Jong Un good health and happiness and great success in carrying out the noble cause.
