Mt. Kumgang in DPRK Is Aggregation of Natural Beauties: Foreign Tourists
Pyongyang, October 6 (KCNA) -- The first group of Dalian-Mt. Kumgang international tourism by air recently toured Mt. Kumgang on the east coast in the central part of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

The tourists were charmed by the fantastic scenery of Mt. Kumgang, touring Sea-Kumgang, Lagoon Samil, Kuryong Falls, Singye Temple and myriad-shaped peaks.

Zheng Guangren, general manager of the Dalian Gaotao Ceramic Co., Ltd., told KCNA:

"I toured various scenic spots in the world, but this is the first to see such beautiful mountain.

There is a saying that seeing is believing.

I had been told about the scenic mountain since I was young, and my cherished wish to see it has been realized at last.

My words fail to express about its beauty, the scenery of Sea-Kumgang in particular, which can be hardly found in any other country.

What also impressed me were humorous explanations of a guide and hospitality in various service facilities.

It is regretful that we could not tour everything for lack of time.

I want to come here again in the future."

Piao Wanshan, general manager of the Dalian Fenghe Industrial Co., Ltd., said:

"I had never expected that Mt. Kumgang is so beautiful like this. As shown in the words of the song, such spectacles as countless odd peaks and waterfalls fascinate visitors.

Crystal water and fresh air made us feel no tired while going sightseeing of various places in the mountain.

It's regrettable that such landscape was enjoyed by us only. Back home, I will recommend other people to tour the mountain.

I hope that Mt. Kumgang international tourism would be ensured on a wider scale."

Li Dongjin, professor of the commercial college under Nankai University, said:

"The cicerone told that there is a saying 'Don't say about natural beauty before seeing Mt. Kumgang'. It's just right word, I think. Mt. Kumgang is not a simple scenic spot but an aggregation of all natural beauties."
