Minju Joson Slams U.S. Human Rights Abuses
Pyongyang, October 2 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, the European parliament adopted a decision urging its member nations including Poland and Romania to open to the public the investigation into the operation of secret prisons set up by the Central Intelligence Agency of the U.S. in their countries and human rights abuses.

Meanwhile, the United Nations Human Rights Council in its session on Sept. 17 bitterly denounced the U.S. for committing human rights abuses in the prison of its naval base in Guantanamo in breach of international law.

Minju Joson Tuesday says in a bylined commentary in this regard:

This indicates the international community's stand not to allow the human rights abuses by the U.S. any longer.

The "anti-terrorism" war being staged by the U.S. is the state-sponsored terrorism unprecedented in history and, at the same time, hideous human rights abuses.

There are ample reasons to put the U.S. on international human rights trial for its maltreatment and humiliation of prisoners in secret prisons abroad.

Great irony is that the U.S., which has no right to speak, kicked up the human rights racket on the international scale and takes issue with human rights performances in other countries, pointing an accusing finger at them.

This is just brigandish act of those who are steeped in arrogance, arbitrariness, tyranny and impudence.

No law in the world allows the U.S. violation of international law.

The U.S. should suffer punishment for its crimes.

The international community will surely put the U.S. on trial, a country that turned to a rogue-like human rights abuser, for its wanton violation of the international human rights norms.
