Rodong Sinmun Calls for Embodying Spirit of Changsong Conference
Pyongyang, September 27 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun on Thursday in a bylined article calls on all officials, party members and other working people to spruce up their counties and villages as a land of bliss under socialism and a cradle of happiness by fully embodying the spirit of the Changsong Joint Conference.

The basic spirit of the conference is that all counties should manage their economic life assiduously by their own efforts to suit their specific conditions so that all their people may lead a happy life, the article says, and continues:

The conference was a historic meeting as it helped bring about a great turn in increasing the role of the county and improving the people's living standard by developing the local industry and rural economy.

The spirit of the conference is the fruition of the indefatigable efforts and devotion of President Kim Il Sung who dedicated his all to the prosperity of the country and the happiness of its people.

Leader Kim Jong Il visited Changsong County two times in the new century, indicating principles and ways for the county to manage its economic life assiduously and kindling the torch of the movement for developing local industry there.

The dear respected Kim Jong Un's work "Let Us Build All Counties into People's Paradise Good to Live in by Embodying Spirit of Historic Changsong Joint Conference" is of important significance in dynamically speeding up the present general advance for the building of a thriving nation.

The work comprehensively clarifies the principle and important tasks to manage economic life of all counties and turn them into a paradise of people in the spirit of the conference.

All counties should fully embody the spirit as intended by Kim Jong Un. Herein lies the shortest cut to rapidly developing the local industry and agriculture and increasing the overall national economic potential to enable the people to lead a happy life.
