Kim Jong Suk Praised by British Organizations
Pyongyang, September 27 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a joint statement on Sept. 16 on the 63rd anniversary of the passing of Kim Jong Suk, anti-Japanese war hero.

The statement said though Kim Jong Suk passed away so early, she is always remembered by all Korean people and the Juche idea followers throughout the world.

It went on:

We praise her as the great mother of Korea.

Born in a simple family in Hoeryong, she embarked upon the road of revolution in her early years for the country's independence from the Japanese imperialists.

She joined the Korean People's Revolutionary Army led by President Kim Il Sung, grew up to be an ardent woman revolutionary and an anti-imperialist fighter and devoted herself to accomplishing the sacred cause of the country's liberation.

She earned fame as a lifeguard of Kim Il Sung by protecting his safety at the risk of her life, woman general of guerillas and a crack shot during the anti-Japanese war.

She was a great example of loyalty to the leader.

She made a great contribution to the development of the Korean women's movement.

She was a brilliant paragon of women revolutionaries.

She devoted herself to building new democratic Korea and made a great contribution to building the revolutionary armed forces after the country's liberation, thereby making sure that the Songun revolutionary cause made dynamic progress.

She gave birth to leader Kim Jong Il and brought him up as the shining star of Mt. Paektu, making an immortal contribution to carrying forward and developing the revolutionary cause of Juche.

Her august name will always be remembered by the world revolutionary people.
