Pyongyang Film Festival Participants Visit Mangyongdae
Pyongyang, September 26 (KCNA) -- The participants in the 13th Pyongyang International Film Festival visited Mangyongdae, the birthplace of President Kim Il Sung, on September 21.

The guests looked round the historic relics, being briefed on the fact that Kim Il Sung was born and spent his childhood in the low thatch-roofed house and nurtured a noble will for revolution.

After visiting there Daniel Otto, head of the German Film delegation, said that he was honored to visit Mangyongdae.

He went on:

An endless stream of people are visiting Mangyongdae.

Kim Il Sung liberated the country and firmly defended it.

He was the founder of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

The head of the delegation of the Beijing Movie School from China said that the delegation was deeply impressed to visit Mangyongdae where the President was born, adding that Kim Il Sung provided the friendly relations between the two countries together with the leaders of the elder generation of China.

The participants also visited the Revolutionary Museum of the Ministry of Culture, Rungna People's Pleasure Park, Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm, Kyongsang Kindergarten, etc. from Sept. 22 to 25.
