Kim Jong Suk Remembered by Peruvian Figures
Pyongyang, September 26 (KCNA) -- A remembrance meeting was held in Peru on Sept. 20 to mark the 63rd anniversary of the death of Kim Jong Suk, anti-Japanese war hero.

Teresa Otiniano, chairwoman of the Peruvian Association for the Study of Revolutionary Activities of Comrade Kim Jong Suk, and Felix Fernandes Torres, secretary general of the Peruvian Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea, made speeches.

The speakers praised Kim Jong Suk for setting an example of loyalty by safeguarding the leader's idea and cause at the risk of her life, saying that she was a renowned political activist who aroused people to an anti-Japanese struggle.

They said she would always be remembered by the Korean people and the world progressives as she made a great contribution to the Korean revolution and the women's emancipation movement.

The Korean people will certainly achieve a final victory in the struggle for defending socialism, building a thriving nation and reunifying the country under the wise leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un who is successfully carrying forward the idea and cause of the great men of Mt. Paektu, they said.
