The Chinese News said:
Kim Jong Un first visited the enlarged Pyongyang Vegetable Science Institute.

At the experimental plots, Kim Jong Un was pleased to hear that it was conducting researches into more than 50 vegetable species including 20 odd species of tomato sent by him.

He stressed the need to cultivate a lot of high-yielding species of tasty and highly nutritive vegetables suited to the climatic and soil conditions of the country so as to supply sufficient quantities of vegetables to the people.
The next leg of his guidance was the enlarged Pyongyang Floriculture Institute.
He was pleased that the institute successfully made floral products with reference to the books he sent to it, adding it would be possible for the flower shops to make floral products including floral baskets and bouquets in the future.
As the Day of Mother was instituted in the country, it would be nice to buy flowers and present them to mothers and wives on that day, he said.
