Lee Myung Bak Regime's Scenario for War against DPRK under Fire
Pyongyang, September 24 (KCNA) -- Of late, there took place in Seoul a full-dress meeting of the 2nd south Korea-U.S. "combined national defense council".

The south Korean puppet brass hats and their American masters were closeted together over "effective proposals" for "containing the north's nukes" and cyber warfare under the pretext of someone's "threat". At the meeting the Lee group desperately implored the U.S. to mount a nuclear attack on the north.

In the meantime, the south Korean bellicose forces are mulling starting a PSI drill for apprehending and searching ships of the DPRK, etc. in the waters off Pusan from Sept. 26 with huge armed forces including Aegis warships of the U.S., Japan and other foreign forces involved.

Rodong Sinmun on Monday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard:

This goes to prove that the Lee regime has no will to defuse the tension between the north and the south created by its provocative actions.

What the regime is now seeking is to screw up the tension in collusion with foreign forces and ignite a war of aggression against the north, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The regime's moves are dangerous provocative actions to unleash an all-out war, a nuclear war through a preemptive attack on the DPRK.

The Lee group never misses a chance to talk about someone's "threat" but this rhetoric can never mislead the public opinion.

The U.S. and the south Korean regime are vicious bellicose forces disturbing peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and bringing the danger of a nuclear war to it by posing a military threat to the DPRK.

Due to the moves stepped up by the Lee regime for a war of aggression against the north, backed by foreign forces, the situation on the peninsula has reached such pass where it is beyond control, much less achieving stability.

The Lee group is sadly mistaken if it calculates it can realize its scenario for invading the north through a preemptive strike. A preemptive strike is by no means a monopoly of the U.S. and the south Korean puppet regime.
