Foreign Forces Should Not Be Allowed to Interfere in Disputes
Pyongyang, September 23 (KCNA) -- One can neither achieve prosperity in the new century nor defend the country's sovereignty as long as the U.S.-led imperialists' military intervention and aggression moves are allowed. This is a lesson drawn from the present complicated international situation. Rodong Sinmun says this in a bylined article Sunday.

The solution to disputes on the international arena at present is a pressing task which brooks no further delay, the article notes, and goes on:

It is important to reject in time brigandish sophism and false propaganda peddled by the imperialists in shattering their military intervention and aggression moves.

The world progressive people aspiring after peace should refrain from remaining a passive onlooker to the spread of misinformation and false propaganda or joining them while thinking of only the interests of their countries and nations.

One should approach the imperialists' crafty moves for division and estrangement with vigilance. They are making a crafty use of various complicated issues including the border issue, the leftover of the colonial rule, driving a wedge and creating antagonism and conflict among countries in a bid to pit them against each other.

They are regarding arbitrary and strong-arm action as major means for realizing their foreign policy for aggression. They are acting at random, wantonly violating the recognized principles and norms of international relations.

Historical facts show that if one does not build up the strong driving force with one's own efforts, one cannot resolutely shatter the evermore intensified reactionary offensive of the imperialists but reduce to slave in the long run.

What is basic in handling the international disputes is for the parties concerned to settle them through peaceful dialogue and negotiations. Herein lies the key to settling the complicated international disputes.
