Floral Tribute Paid to Kim Jong Suk
Pyongyang, September 22 (KCNA) -- Wreaths were laid Saturday before the bust of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of her death.

Placed before the bust was a wreath sent by Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.

Present at a wreath-laying ceremony were Kim Yong Nam, Choe Yong Rim, Choe Ryong Hae and other leading officials of the party, state and army, the chairperson of a friendly party, officials of party, armed forces and power organs, the Cabinet, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, service persons of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces and Pyongyangites.

Laid before the bust were wreaths in the name of the WPK Central Committee, the Presidium of the SPA and the Cabinet of the DPRK.

Also laid before the bust were those in the name of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, the Ministry of People's Security, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, KPA units, educational, literary and arts, public health and media institutions, the Joint National Organization of the Korean Children's Union, party and power organs, factories and farms in the city.

The participants paid silent tribute to Kim Jong Suk, looking back on her immortal life.

Floral baskets were placed before the statues of Kim Jong Suk in Kim Jong Suk County, Hoeryong City, at Kim Jong Suk Naval University and Kim Jong Suk General Military Academy on the same day.
