Kim Jong Suk's Patriotic Devotion Remembered by Korean People
Pyongyang, September 22 (KCNA) -- On the occasion of the death anniversary of Kim Jong Suk, an anti-Japanese war hero, the people in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea recall her patriotic devotion.

It was in December, Juche 34 (1945) that Kim Jong Suk was on the way to the Komusan Cement Factory.

A suite member suggested to her that she go to Hoeryong before visiting the factory. In Hoeryong there is her native home, which she pictured so eagerly during the anti-Japanese armed struggle.

But, she refused his suggestion, saying that President Kim Il Sung was working day and night to build new Korea and she should return to Pyongyang as soon as possible, after finishing the work at the factory, to protect the safety of the President.

Kim Jong Bu, chief engineer of the factory, told KCNA:

"The fact touches the heartstrings of the workers of the factory still now.

Kim Jong Suk, who devoted her all to the country and the people, never visited her native home in her lifetime.

Following her patriotic devotion, we will do our best for building a thriving nation, true to the guidance of the dear respected Kim Jong Un."
