Lee Myung Bak Regime's Military Maneuvers Slammed
Pyongyang, September 19 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet forces conducted amphibious maneuvers, another show of Inchon landing operation of the U.S. troops in the past Korean War, in waters off Wolmi Island from Sept. 13 to 15 with more than 1 500 troops, various warships and KAAVs involved. They even invited lots of people to watch it.

They are now set to "commemorate" the battles in the River Rakdong and Chunchon area.

It is another grave politically-motivated military provocation against the DPRK for the Lee regime to move to "commemorate" the war of aggression on the DPRK.

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says this in a bylined commentary.

What should not be overlooked is that the Lee Myung Bak group has gone so shameless as to recall the departed souls in different places of south Korea while calling for "commemorating" the battles in the Korean War, the commentary points out, and goes on:

Serious is that it is not just a mere distortion of the history of the war of aggression. This is aimed to provoke the second Korean War by imbuing the south Korean society with the feelings of bitter hostility and confrontation with the DPRK.

It is ridiculous, indeed, for the Lee group to dream of invading the DPRK while crying out for "commemoration", instead of drawing a lesson from the shameful defeat in the last Korean War.

The army and people of the DPRK will never miss the chance to annihilate the warmongers and achieve the final victory for the national reunification by giving the fullest play to the tremendous military might they have built up, should the U.S. and south Korean puppet forces dare provoke.
