DPRK's Birthday Celebrated Abroad
Pyongyang, September 18 (KCNA) -- Diverse events took place in different countries on Sept. 5 and 6 to celebrate the 64th birthday of the DPRK.

They included a lecture, book and photo exhibition and film show held in India, a lecture and photo exhibition in Romania and lectures in Ethiopia and Ukraine.

On display in the venues of the events were photos showing the undying feats performed by Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in building and developing the DPRK and the revolutionary activities of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

Also on display there were works of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and other Korean books and photos showing the drive of the Korean people for building a thriving nation.

Shown at the film shows was a Korean film introducing the mass gymnastic and artistic performance "Arirang".

Parveen Gupta, secretary general of the Indian Society for Juche Idea-Self-Reliance Studies, said that the DPRK is demonstrating its might as an independent power, adding that it would be unthinkable without the exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

The DPRK will become a more powerful independent country and a better country for the people to live in under the outstanding leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un, a creditable successor to the idea and cause of the preceding leaders, he added.

Daniel Dediu, chairman of the Romanian Workers' Association, said that the DPRK has fully embodied the Juche idea centered on the popular masses into all its state activities, regarding it as the only guidelines, and put the single-minded unity of the whole society on the highest level.

Medhane, secretary general of the Ethiopian Youth Study Group of the Juche Idea, said Kim Il Sung was the father of socialist Korea who founded the DPRK, Kim Jong Il was a great master of politics who put the DPRK on the position of a power and Kim Jong Un is the young leader who is carrying forward and glorifying the exploits of the preceding leaders.

A message of greeting to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the event in Romania.
