DPRK's Birthday Observed by Foreign Media
Pyongyang, September 18 (KCNA) -- Magazines and newspapers of various countries devoted special write-ups to the 64th anniversary of the DPRK.

The September issue of International Relations, a magazine of Hong Kong, China carried a special write-up illustrated with a portrait of smiling President Kim Il Sung and photos of leader Kim Jong Il and the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

The magazine in an article titled "Independent power" gave a detailed account of the fact that under the wise guidance of the peerlessly great men, the DPRK has demonstrated its dignity by pursuing an independent policy and its might with its self-supporting economy and created an ever-victorious history with its self-defensive military capability.

In an article titled "Kim Jong Un, world focus" the magazine said posted on Google in ten odd days after the demise of Kim Jong Il were 67.4 million articles, about 230 000 per hour.

The Ugandan paper Sun Rise on September 9 carried an article introducing in detail the shining exploits the army and people of the DPRK performed in building a thriving socialist nation under the uplifted banner of Songun, together with a portrait of the smiling President.

A Senegalese paper on September 6 in an article titled "Eternal Kim Il Sung's Korea" said the DPRK would shine long as eternal Kim Il Sung's Korea.

The Zimbabwean paper Herald on September 8 carried an article titled "Kim Jong Il's patriotism giving spurs to prosperity".

The paper said supreme leader Kim Jong Un is energetically leading the Korean people in their struggle to attain the goal to build an economic power, consolidating the status of the DPRK as a politico-ideological power and military power at the helm of the Korean revolution.
