Int'l Film Festival to Be Held in Pyongyang
Pyongyang, September 17 (KCNA) -- The 13th Pyongyang International Film Festival will be opened on September 20.

Feature, documentary, short and children's films from different countries will be shown at theatres and cinemas in the city.

Directors, producers and critics from DPRK, China, Russia, Germany and Australia will sit on the jury.

The festival will be held, divided into competition and special and circular movies screening.

The DPRK presents to it the feature film "Wishes", documentary "Ogasan Natural Reserve" and cartoons "Pyol Nam and Rubber Ball" and "Kkamjang Loses the Way".

Also screened at the festival will be the DPRK-China co-produced movie "Meet in Pyongyang" and DPRK-Britain co-produced movie "Comrade Kim Goes Flying".

Film exchange meetings and a DPRK movie preview are scheduled in the festival.

The festival, which began in Juche 76 (1987), takes place every two years from 1990, in the idea of independence, peace and friendship.
