Prof. Narihiko Ito of a university of Japan said that the way is not found for a fundamental solution to improving the relations between the two countries until today, the 10th anniversary of the Japan-DPRK Pyongyang Declaration. He called upon the Society to expand the activities for normalizing the Japan-DPRK diplomatic relations.

The secretary general of the Kanagawa Prefectural Peace Movement Centre said that about seven decades have passed since the end of World War II, but Japan still refuses to make an apology and reparation to Asian countries. This is a fundamental thing that poses a threat to peace and stability in the region, he added.
