Conspicuous in the fair was the pavilion of the State Press and Publication Administration of China.

Jon Yong Hui, an employee at the Grand People's Study House, told KCNA:

"The State Press and Publication Administration of China exhibited many volumes of books in the fair, enjoying popularity.

Especially, the sci-tech books drew great interest from local scientists and students."

Jong Kwang Ryol, a student at Kim Chaek University of Technology, said:

"At the exhibition I could get a better understanding of what I wanted to know."

Kim Pong Hun, a researcher at the State Academy of Sciences, said:

"The books exhibited gave me a glimpse of the latest sci-tech achievements made worldwide. They are helpful to obtaining necessary knowledge."

The administration took part in the fair several times in the past and exhibited more than 4 000 volumes of books this time.

On Wednesday, it donated the exhibited books to the DPRK on behalf of the press organs in China.
